Charlotte's Web is a timeless classic. It is considered to be one of the top children's books in American Literature.  This site has set out to show you why it deserves a spot in the top 100 children's books.  Charlotte's Web is appealing to both children and adults. According to the Library School Journal Charlotte's Web is the number 1 children's book in 2012 (Bird, 2012).  The National Education Association picked Charlotte's Web 1st in their top 100 list in 2007; this list is used to pick quality literature for children (National Education Association, 2007).
