Henry Fussy is a boy that Fern Arable grows to like.  He captures her interest at the fair. Fern starts to grow up and notice boys.  She still loves Wilber but does not spend as much time with him or her barnyard friends.  Henry is the start of Fern's interest shifting to growing up.  She becomes enamored with Henry Fussy and is constantly thinking about him after their ride on the Ferris wheel.
